Delivery partner sought for the construction of Poland’s mega hub


The company behind Poland’s new mega hub has launched a tender to select a general contract engineer (GCE) for the construction of CPK Airport.

Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) is seeking a contractor that will act as both project management consultant (PMC) and contract engineer (construction manager) for the planned new the new gateway.

It notes that it is essential that applicants for the key role bring expertise from greenfield airport projects abroad as well as large-scale investments within Poland.

It states: “The appointed entity will support the comprehensive management of the entire airport construction process, providing end-to-end oversight and coordination across the site. The tender includes support in areas such as consultancy, planning, scheduling, and the integration of multiple design and construction contracts into a single, cohesive programme.

“The GCE’s overarching objective will be to ensure that the CPK Airport opens on time, within scope, and on budget – while placing particular emphasis on evaluating the quality of proposed solutions.

Located 40 kilometres southwest of capital, Warsaw, CPK Airport is scheduled to open in 2032.
