New partnership sees Super Chill’s emotional wellbeing content introduced across Virgin Atlantic’s fleet, giving families simple tools to help children feel calmer and more confident while travelling.
Children’s wellbeing platform Super Chill has partnered with Virgin Atlantic to introduce a new collection of emotional wellbeing content to its inflight entertainment offering.
Available onboard since 1 September 2026, Super Chill content is now featured across Virgin Atlantic’s entire fleet, giving families access to simple, engaging exercises designed to help children understand and manage their emotions while travelling.
Passengers can access 15 videos including calming meditations, ‘little rituals’ to help manage emotions and relaxing exercises to help kids drift off to sleep. With more than an hour of content there is something for everyone.
Designed primarily for children aged six and over, Super Chill uses short, practical exercises to support emotional wellbeing around areas including worry, stress, confidence and relaxation. The content is designed to feel engaging and accessible rather than like a lesson, giving children techniques they can use during the flight and beyond.
The partnership forms part of Virgin Atlantic’s wider commitment to supporting passenger wellbeing and reflects the airline’s belief that travel should feel welcoming and inclusive for families.
Super Chill content is available through Virgin Atlantic’s Vera inflight entertainment system across all aircraft, with a dedicated Super Chill widget in the Kids Zone on selected aircraft as of this month.
Super Chill launched in the UK earlier this year following its success in the Netherlands, where it has already reached more than 200,000 families. The completely free platform provides children and families with simple exercises and emotional check-ins designed to build confidence, resilience and a better understanding of their feelings.
Bethan Lynch, VP Customer Experience and Loyalty at Virgin Atlantic, commented:
“We know travelling can sometimes be stressful, especially for families, so we’re partnering with Super Chill to provide simple, practical tools that help our younger customers feel calm, confident and supported throughout their journey. By bringing Super Chill on board, we’re aiming to make the experience more enjoyable for the whole family, helping them arrive feeling relaxed and ready for their adventure.”
Geert Pelsma, Managing Director at Super Chill said of the partnership:
“We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Virgin Atlantic and bringing Super Chill to families while they travel.
“Flying can be a brilliant adventure for children, but it can also bring big feelings. There are unfamiliar surroundings, changes to routine, waiting around and moments when children might feel anxious or overwhelmed. The great thing about the Super Chill exercises is that they are simple tools children can use wherever they are.
“We want emotional wellbeing to become a normal part of everyday life for children, and having Super Chill available onboard Virgin Atlantic flights gives families another opportunity to stop, check in and find a little calm together.”
