As flagged by AeroRoutes, Qatar Airways has scheduled an expansion of the number of departures from Doha Hamad International Airport

Flight QR767 and the return itinerary, flight QR768, will keep the same schedule. The westward flight is scheduled to depart the Qatari capital at 08:10 local time (UTC +3) and land in the Canadian city at 14:15 local time (UTC -4). The return itinerary, flight QR764, departs Montreal at 21:35 and is scheduled to land in Doha at 16:45 the following day. Both are operated by Boeing 777-300ER

Qatar Airways flights to Toronto-Pearson will be ramping up fairly quickly since the Qatari carrier began flights on December 12, 2024, complementing the services to Montreal. Then, the airline operated its first-ever flight to the Canadian city with a Starlink-equipped 777-300ER, with Qatar Airways highlighting that it surpassed its Starlink roll-out target for 2024, already installing the connectivity solution on 15 instead of 12 777-300ER aircraft.

At the time, the airline highlighted that since it launched flights to Montreal in June 2011, it has served over 1.6 million passengers on thrice weekly, five weekly, and then daily flights to the city. According to Cirium’s Diio Mi, between June 2011 and April 2025, it offered a total of 2.1 million seats from Doha to Montreal and from Montreal to Doha.

Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Airways, who replaced the ever-outspoken Akbar Al Baker and assumed his role in November 2023, said that the launch of flights to Toronto underscored its commitment to presenting Canadian travelers with unparalleled service and seamless connectivity. The CEO praised Toronto-Pearson as a vital hub for global travel and its role as a gateway for business, culture, and tourism, making it a fitting addition to Qatar Airways’ network.
